The Challenge
A typical 5-bedroom villa has high evening air-conditioning and lighting loads, exports or wastes part of its midday solar, and needs essential circuits such as fridges, Wi-Fi, lighting and water pumps to stay on during short grid outages.
The Solution
The design pairs 18 EURONET 590W bifacial panels (10.6kWp) with an E-PRO 10kW IP65 hybrid inverter and two NEO 51.2V 314Ah LiFePO4 batteries (32.15kWh in total). A DC combiner box, DC surge protection and DC breakers from the EURONET range complete the installation.
Results
- 10.6kWp rooftop array with 32.15kWh of LiFePO4 storage
- Midday solar stored for evening use instead of being exported
- Essential circuits kept on through grid outages
- IP65 inverter suitable for a shaded outdoor wall
