Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Euronet Technologies LLC and its group companies ("Euronet") collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit euronetworld.com, contact us, apply to become a partner or distributor, apply for a job or do business with us. It also explains your privacy rights and how to use them.
Privacy at a glance
- We collect the personal data you give us, such as your name, contact details and business information, and limited technical data when you visit our website.
- We use it to answer enquiries, assess partner and job applications, manage business relationships, send marketing you can opt out of, and keep our website secure.
- We share it only with our group companies, authorised distributors, trusted service providers and, where the law requires, authorities. We do not sell personal data.
- We keep it only as long as we need it. For example, we keep enquiries that do not lead to business for 2 years.
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or stop marketing, by emailing contact@euronet.co.
1. Who we are
Euronet is a brand of solar energy, power and electrical, security and surveillance, and IoT products, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We design and supply our own branded products to distributors, resellers, installers and other business customers across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
In this Privacy Policy, "Euronet", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Euronet company responsible for your personal data. For our website and most of our activities, this is:
- Company: Euronet Technologies LLC
- Address: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Email: contact@euronet.co
- Telephone: +971 55 552 7791
This company is the controller of your personal data, which means it decides why and how your personal data is used.
Our group companies
Euronet also operates through companies in other countries. If you deal with one of them directly, for example as a customer or distributor in its country, that company is also a controller of your personal data for that relationship. It handles your personal data in line with this Privacy Policy and local law.
- Saudi Arabia: EURONET TECHNOLOGY Company, unified national number 7052444507
- Nigeria: our affiliated company at Ikeja, Lagos.
You can ask us which Euronet company holds your personal data using the details in section 17.
2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we handle when you:
- visit euronetworld.com, its Arabic version or any Euronet website that links to this policy;
- send us an enquiry, request a quote, subscribe to our updates or apply to become a partner or distributor;
- contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media;
- respond to our advertising, including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram;

- apply for a job with us;
- do business with us as a distributor, reseller, installer, customer, supplier or service provider, or work for one of them;
- use the myEuronet app.
We are a business-to-business company, so most of the personal data we hold is business contact information about people who work for our customers, partners and suppliers. It is still personal data, and this Privacy Policy applies to it in full.
What this Privacy Policy does not cover
- Websites, apps and platforms run by others, such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and online marketplaces. Their own privacy policies apply, including when you buy Euronet products from a retailer or marketplace.
- Personal data about Euronet employees, which a separate internal notice covers.
3. Personal data we collect
We collect only the personal data we need for the purposes in section 4. Most of it comes directly from you.

Job applications
When you apply for a role on our careers page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the role you applied for, your cover note, your CV and everything in it, and the IP address used to submit your application. During recruitment, we also record interview and assessment notes and any references you provide.
Communications with us
When you contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media, we collect your name, contact details, WhatsApp name and number, social media profile name, the content of your messages and attachments, and our notes of calls.

When you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares with us the details the form asks for, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, country and your answers.
Exhibitions and events
When you visit our stand or attend one of our events, we collect the details on your business card or badge scan, the details you give our team or share through our QR code or WhatsApp service, and photographs or video taken at our stand or event.

When you do business with us, we collect contact details, job title and company; quotations, orders, deliveries, invoices and payment records for the business account; credit and trade references; and warranty and support requests, including product details, serial numbers and photos you send.
The myEuronet app
When you use the myEuronet app, we collect the details you enter in the app and the technical information your device sends when the app connects to our systems, such as IP address, device type, operating system and app version. The myEuronet app is available on the Apple App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android).
Website visits
When you browse our website, our systems record technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language setting, the pages you view, the page you came from, the date and time of your visit, and security logs. Section 6 explains how we use cookies.
Personal data from other sources
We may also receive personal data about you from:
- your colleagues or our distributors, for example when they pass on your enquiry or a warranty claim;
- Meta, when you submit one of our lead forms;
- recruitment agencies and job platforms, such as LinkedIn, when you apply through them;
- public sources such as company registers, business directories and company websites, when we check a business before appointing it as a partner.
Personal data you must provide
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) on our forms are required. Without them, we cannot respond to your request or assess your application.
Sensitive personal data
We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health information, religious beliefs or biometric data. CVs sometimes include details such as date of birth, nationality or a photograph. We use these only to assess your application and to meet legal requirements, such as checking your right to work. We do not collect payment card details through our website.
4. How we use your personal data
We use personal data only for the purposes below. For each purpose, we rely on a lawful basis recognised by the data protection laws listed in section 11:
- Contract: the processing is needed to enter into or perform a contract with you or your organisation.
- Legal obligation: we must process the personal data to comply with the law.
- Legitimate interests: we have a genuine business reason that your rights do not outweigh. You can object at any time.
- Consent: you have agreed. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
Our purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries and quote requests: replying to your message, preparing quotations and sending datasheets. Lawful basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Passing your enquiry to the right team: sending it to the Euronet company or authorised distributor that serves your country. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Assessing partner and distributor applications: reviewing your application, checking your business in public registers, and carrying out credit, trade and sanctions checks. Lawful basis: contract, legitimate interests and, where screening is required, legal obligation.
- Managing business relationships: orders, deliveries, invoicing, payments, warranty claims, technical support, partner training and programme benefits. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation, including tax and accounting records.
- Keeping customer and lead records: recording enquiries and contacts in our CRM, tracking where leads come from and measuring sales and marketing performance. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing and advertising: sending product news, launches, catalogues, event invitations and newsletters by email or WhatsApp, and showing our adverts to existing contacts on social media. Lawful basis: consent or, for existing business contacts where the law allows, legitimate interests.
- Recruitment: assessing applications, arranging interviews, and checking references and right to work. Lawful basis: steps before entering a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation.
- Exhibitions and events: following up after a stand visit, and sharing photographs and video of our stand and events. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and, where the law requires it, consent.
- Running and protecting our website and app: hosting, security logs, preventing spam and abuse of our forms, and fixing faults. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Improving our products and service: analysing feedback, complaints and support requests as part of our quality management. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Meeting legal duties and protecting our rights: keeping records the law requires, responding to authorities, handling disputes and enforcing our terms. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- Business changes: sharing personal data with a buyer or successor, under confidentiality, if we reorganise, merge or sell all or part of our business. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
We do not sell personal data. We will not use it for a purpose unrelated to those above without telling you first and, where required, asking for your consent.
5. Marketing, advertising and your choices
We send marketing only to people who have agreed to receive it, or to business contacts we already deal with where the law allows. Marketing may include product launches, catalogues, datasheets, event invitations and our newsletter, sent by email, WhatsApp or telephone.
How to stop marketing
You can stop marketing at any time, free of charge:
- click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email;
- reply "STOP" to a WhatsApp marketing message, or block the sender in WhatsApp;
- email contact@euronet.co with the subject line "Unsubscribe".
We act on opt-out requests promptly and keep a short record that you opted out, so that we do not contact you again by mistake. You may still receive service messages, such as replies to your enquiries, order updates and warranty notices.
Advertising on social media
Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube show our adverts using their own targeting tools. Their privacy policies explain how they use your personal data and how to change your advertising preferences.
We may also upload the email addresses or phone numbers of our existing contacts to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), so that it can show our adverts to people who already deal with Euronet, or leave them out of certain adverts. These details are converted into a code (hashed) before upload, and Meta uses them only to find matching accounts. Where the law requires your consent for this, we ask for it first. To opt out, email contact@euronet.co with the subject line "Advertising opt-out".
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and server logs.
- Strictly necessary cookies keep our website secure and working, for example by delivering pages, remembering your language choice and protecting our forms from spam. These do not need your consent.
- Analytics cookies count visits and show how a website is used. We do not use analytics cookies at the date of this Privacy Policy.
- Advertising cookies measure adverts or show you adverts on other websites. We do not use advertising cookies at the date of this Privacy Policy.
If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Privacy Policy first. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner that lets you change your choice at any time.
Some pages link to or show videos hosted on YouTube. If you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our website may not work.
7. Who we share your personal data with
We share personal data only when we need to, and only as much as the recipient needs:
- Euronet group companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, to handle your enquiry, order, partnership or support request in your country.
- Authorised Euronet distributors and resellers, when you ask about buying our products in a territory they serve, so that they can respond to you. They use your details under their own privacy responsibilities.
- Service providers who work for us, such as website hosting, database and file storage providers (for example Vercel and Supabase), our CRM and business management system (Odoo), email and office software, WhatsApp Business and our WhatsApp messaging provider (Meta and AiSensy), and IT support. They process personal data only on our instructions, under contract, and must keep it secure.
- Logistics and freight partners, to deliver orders, samples and marketing materials.
- Banks and payment providers, to make and receive business payments.
- Social media and advertising platforms, such as Meta, to run our pages and adverts, receive the lead forms you submit to us, and show our adverts to existing contacts using hashed contact details.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors, accountants and insurers, who owe us a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, such as courts, regulators, and tax, customs and law enforcement authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor, under confidentiality, if we reorganise, merge or sell all or part of our business.
We will share personal data for any other reason only with your consent.
8. International data transfers
We are based in the UAE and operate across several countries, so your personal data may be transferred to, stored in or accessed from countries other than your own. These include the UAE, where our head office is; Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, where our group companies operate; and the countries where our service providers keep their systems, which may include the United States, the European Union and India.
Some of these countries may not offer the same level of data protection as your own. When we transfer personal data, we protect it with at least one of the following safeguards, as the applicable law requires:
- transferring it only to countries whose data protection laws are recognised as adequate;
- written contracts that require the recipient to protect the personal data, including standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authority, such as the European Commission or the Saudi Data and AI Authority;
- your explicit consent, where that is the appropriate basis;
- the transfer being necessary to perform a contract with you or at your request, or to establish or defend legal claims.
We limit transfers to the personal data that is needed. You can ask us for more information about the safeguards we use.
9. How long we keep your personal data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 4, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
- Enquiries and quote requests that do not lead to business: 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Customer, distributor and supplier records, including contracts, orders, invoices, payments and related correspondence: for the whole relationship, then 7 years, the longest period UAE tax law currently requires for business records.
- Approved partner applications: kept as customer and distributor records, as above.
- Partner applications we do not approve, and their supporting documents: 12 months after our decision.
- Newsletter and marketing lists: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record of your opt-out so that we do not contact you again.
- Job applications and CVs: up to 12 months after the role is filled or your application closes. If you join us, your application becomes part of your employee file.
- Contacts from exhibitions and events: 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer or partner.
- Photographs and video from our stand and events: for as long as we use them in our marketing archive. If you ask us to remove an image of you, we will do so where we reasonably can.
- Website security and server logs: for short periods set by our hosting providers, generally no longer than 90 days.
We may keep personal data for longer if the law requires it, or if we need it to deal with a complaint, a legal claim or an investigation.
10. How we protect your personal data
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure or change. These include:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our website;
- role-based access, so that staff see only the personal data their job requires;
- restricted storage for CVs, which only authorised HR staff and administrators can open;
- protection of our forms against spam and automated abuse;
- confidentiality duties for our staff, and written contracts that require our service providers to protect personal data;
- procedures for handling security incidents, including notifying regulators and affected people when the law requires it.
No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of personal data sent to us over the internet. Please do not send sensitive information by email, WhatsApp or our forms unless we ask for it.
Protect yourself from fraud
If you receive a message that appears to be from Euronet and asks you to change bank or payment details, please call us on +971 55 552 7791 to check it before you make a payment.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your personal data, as this Privacy Policy does;
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your personal data, or have it destroyed, when we no longer need it or are not allowed to keep it;
- restrict how we use your personal data, for example while we check its accuracy;
- object to our use of your personal data based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- data portability, which means receiving your personal data in a portable format, or having it sent to another organisation, where technically possible;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you;
- complain to a data protection regulator.
These rights have legal limits. For example, we may need to keep some personal data to meet a legal duty or to defend a legal claim. If we cannot meet a request in full, we will explain why.

If you live in one of the countries below, these laws and regulators may apply to you. If you live elsewhere, we will respect the rights your local law gives you.

13. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Our website automatically screens form submissions for spam and abuse, but people review all enquiries, partner applications and job applications.
15. Links to other websites
Our website links to other websites and platforms, such as our social media pages, YouTube and online marketplaces. We are not responsible for how they handle personal data. Please read their privacy policies before you share personal data with them.
