Why LiFePO4 has won daily-cycle storage

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is the chemistry of choice for any system that cycles its battery bank daily. The advantage over lead-acid is not marginal: a 51.2V LiFePO4 stack delivers 80% usable depth of discharge against 50% for premium gel, survives 6,000+ cycles against 1,500 for tubular lead-acid, and weighs roughly a third as much for the same usable kilowatt-hour. Inside three years of daily cycling, the higher up-front cost is amortised by the reduced replacement schedule alone.

Euronet stocks the full LiFePO4 range across three segments. 12.8V Blue and Light modules are drop-in replacements for 12V lead-acid in RVs, marine and portable solar. 25.6V and 51.2V modules pair with single-phase hybrid inverters for residential storage — the 51.2V 400Ah unit delivers 20.48kWh with built-in LCD and RS485/CAN communication. For whole-home, light-commercial, or off-grid hub installations, the 716V high-voltage rack and modular 19″ lithium rack scale to 71.6kWh and beyond.

Built-in Intelligent BMS

Cell-level voltage, current and temperature monitoring with automatic balancing, over-charge, over-discharge, short-circuit and thermal protection. The BMS is the difference between safe and unsafe lithium.

6,000+ Deep Cycles

LiFePO4 chemistry delivers 6,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge — four to five times the cycle life of premium lead-acid — with 15-year design life on the 51.2V and 716V rack systems.

60–70% Lighter

A 12.8V LiFePO4 module weighs 60–70% less than its lead-acid equivalent for the same usable energy. The lightweight 12.8V Light series is a true drop-in replacement for RV, marine and portable solar.

RS485 & CAN Integration

Open communication with major hybrid inverter brands over RS485 and CAN bus. The inverter reads SOC, SOH and cell-balance status directly, enabling smarter charging and accurate runtime estimates.
