Pick the right chemistry for your system
Battery chemistry is the most consequential decision in any solar or backup project — it determines cycle life, usable depth of discharge, weight, footprint, ambient temperature performance, and total cost over a 10-year horizon. Euronet stocks three chemistries because no single technology is right for every installation. LiFePO4 lithium dominates daily-cycle residential and hybrid-inverter systems where 6,000+ cycles, an integrated BMS, and 80% usable depth of discharge make the up-front premium disappear inside three years.
Sealed gel (VRLA) batteries remain the workhorse for telecom shelters and standby duty thanks to spill-proof construction and a wide −40°C to +50°C operating window. Tubular lead-acid still wins on capex for tropical off-grid installations where ambient heat punishes lithium and the duty cycle is forgiving. All Euronet batteries are ISO 9001:2015 certified, ship from the Dubai regional hub, and pair with our inverters and charge controllers via documented charging profiles.
