Three jobs, one inverter
A traditional solar system needs three boxes on the wall — a standalone MPPT charge controller for the panels, a separate inverter for the AC loads, and an automatic transfer switch between grid and battery. A hybrid inverter rolls all three into a single device. That means fewer points of failure, tidier wiring, faster commissioning, and a single firmware stack to monitor over WiFi or RS485.
For homes adding solar to an existing grid connection, hybrid inverters preserve the option to consume grid power, sell excess solar back, and ride through outages on battery — all without a hardware change. Pick single-phase for typical residential loads or 3-phase for villas, light commercial, and agricultural pump installations.
